Coming Soon to a Theater Near You (or Not)
Our movie theater sucks. It's a great big, beautiful, expensive complex with great seating and yummy snacks, but it still sucks. Let me explain. Our movie theater has 22 screens, so you would think they would show 22 movies right? Wrong. Right now there are 12 movies at Cinemark 22 because some "really good" movies are shown in more than one theater at a time. Spongebob, for instance. Which brings me to another reason our theater sucks. They do not show the movies that I actually want to see. Granted, they do have Ocean's 12, which I would like to see, but what about A Very Long Engagement, Kinsey and The Motorcycle Diaries?
One day during winter break, I should go to Los Angeles and watch movies all day. Good, cultural, interesting films. I don't think I can wait for A Very Long Engagement to come out on video. I just love Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Audrey Tautou too, too, too much to wait. Will said he would take me soon. Yay!
